Celebs running your life?

I’m trying to figure out why people are so obsessed with celebrities lives. Is it because their own life is so boring and miserable that they have to obsess about other peoples lives and know everything that they do, what coffee they drink, what clothes they wear who they’re dating… I personally think that it is sad, I mean for gods sake they are just people who happen to be on tv or on the radio, when your friend calls in on the radio and you hear their voice for their 15 min of fame do you suddenly wonder what kind of milk they had w/ their cereal? Chances are you didn’t. I also think that this whole Miley Cyrus thing is getting way out of control, you know the pic of her in the sheet, I mean I’m sure that everyone has some sort of pic that is similar(ex: at the beach in a swimsuit w/ only a towel rapped around you, something like that) Its not like she’s completely naked or showing cleavage or butt crack, she is covered up and her back is showing. If she was wearing a backless or strapless dress would there be this much controversy? Anyways, back on the original subject I just think it is a little ridiculous how people obsess about celebs and buy everything magazine on them for entertainment, who cares if brittany gets her kids back, or Lindsey goes to rehab, or some fat celeb loses weight… oh and all that crap about eating disorders kills me… they’re skinny because they are on drugs, but thats another post
